In line with this new policy of maintaining a leadership role in the flag industry, the company is constantly upgrading its equipment and has recently installed digital printers at a cost of more than R2.5m. These printers are able to produce flags with full penetration as well as banners and other display material suitable for outdoor use.
Material is printed directly from the computer and is ideal for short runs and full colour printing.

 

 

Staff

The total staff compliment is 108 of which 83% are from previously disadvantaged communities. The company has an employment equity programme and provides the staff with medical aid, life and disability cover, a provident fund and interest free loans.

 

 

Clientele

National Flag is a major supplier throughout Africa and includes among its international clients Coca-Cola, Goodyear, Shell, Volvo, BP, Hyundai, Mercedes Benz, McDonalds and most of the African breweries. The company supplies most of the Southern African Government's flag requirements and organisations such as the SADC, AU etc. National Flag is South African Bureau of Standards approved and exceeds all its requirements for flag manufacture. National Flag is also a member of Proudly South African.

 

 

Branches and Agencies

National Flag has branches in Cape Town, Durban and agencies throughout Africa. National Flag has service crews nationwide and services each town in South Africa through bi-monthly service runs.
